You've heard the term Dosado, but do you know how to dance one? And do you the difference between a Dosado and a Do Paso? Do you think a Scoot Back is something a dog does? Come join the Farmers & Charmers Square Dance Class and, in a few months, you not only will know those terms, but will be dancing them with others at dances.
The beginner class will be held on Sundays from 6:30 to 9 p.m., starting Sept. 10 at the Wilkinson Multipurpose Center in Northridge, California.
Dale Hoppers, our professional caller, will be teaching line dancing from 6:30 to 7 p.m. and square dancing from 7 to 9 p.m.
Each tip is about 10-15 minutes long with a five-minute break between and refreshments are provided.
A suggested donation of $6 per person, per class, is asked, with the first night free and discounts for families and students.
You do not need a dance partner as members of the Farmers and Charmers, including graduates who started last September's class, will be on hand to help.
